Step Up To The Plate

Do you or someone in your organization lack dining etiquette skills when it comes to social or business entertaining? Are you unclear as to which bread plate and water glass is yours? Not sure who is responsible for paying the bill? Hesitant on knowing when to start eating? How to honour your host?

Business dining events put your etiquette skills on full display. From posture to silverware savvy, there are codes of conduct for both formal and informal events.

This is where my training comes in. In Step Up to the Plate, you will learn:

  • Host and guest of honour duties

  • Toasting for the hosting

  • Excusing yourself

  • Styles of eating: American, Continental, Asian

  • Napkin know-how

  • Silverware savvy

After my training, you and your team will stand out with confidence, class, and presence. No more being embarrassed by using your neighbour’s bread plate or using the wrong fork. Your dining etiquette and knowledge will impress your client and make you look like the ultimate professional.

EXECUTIVE PRESENCE
Executive Presence

You’ve met people with it before. They walk into a room purposefully and confidently. They command attention. When they speak, people hang onto their words and take their ideas seriously. It may seem like these talented people were born with oodles of charisma. But here is a secret: Presence is a skill that can be taught. With practice, you can own a room anytime, anywhere.

How would it feel to walk into a job interview with supreme confidence? Or to give a presentation in front of your company’s C-suite with panache? Once you master the basics of executive presence, you will be amazed how smooth your path forward becomes.

Learn how to tap into this superpower:

●      Make a powerful first impression

●      Impress your client at networking and dining events

●      Navigate digital communications

●      Give a proper introduction

●      Develop your personal gravitas and more

If you are a mid to senior-level manager seeking to advance your career, serve on a board, or improve your communication skills, this presentation is for you. Your executive presence skills will elevate your employer’s brand and help you win more business.
